Anxiety & Stress

DearJames,

I owe my anxiety and stress to probation for my felony. I work and so does my husband. I have two kids alive and one that has passed away.

I’m worried and stressed out all the time moving into our new home. I want guidance, so what should I do?

Dear Anxiety & Stress,

Whenever anxiety and stress present themselves, take a moment to still yourself. In those quiet moments, you’ll find your way forward. You’ll learn to trust your inner knowing. You’ll find inner Peace.

Peace brings about stability and much needed clarity. Clarity makes life’s decisions all the more easy to cope with, accept, manage, and make.

Focus your attention on your breathing, taking deep rhythmic breathes until you feel calmer and more relaxed. Let the stresses of the moment melt away. When your mind begins to wander or become loud with anxiety, with laser-like precision, bring your full attention back to your breath and breathing.

Inhale. Exhale. Follow and listen to your breath, your breathing. There are powerful gifts of empowerment and calm in your breath of life. In time, you will have retrained both your brain and ego-mind-personality. You will have trained them in the art of being.

The ego-mind-personality is a powerful force to be reckoned with, and yet once you condition it to accept this new part of you, this new way of being, all falls into a state of harmony.

The real results are based upon the commitment you make to effect these changes in your daily routine, habits, thoughts, and lifestyle. Commit to this practice daily. Make time for peace, stability & clarity in your Life.

You’ll find it’s far easier to do than you may anticipate or expect. The only real thing standing in your way of achieving it and a better way forward is your commitment to its practice in your life. All of this will lead to living your life in a more conscious, centered, and trusting state of being and awareness.

You are learning to love, trust, and know your soul-self. And while it may sound airy-fairy or woo woo, the proof as-they-say, is in the pudding. Proof positive that a calm ego-mind-personality leads to a healthy Body, Mind, Soul, and Spirit. Take heed as you allow your soul to forge a new path of peace for and with you.
