My Music

DearJames,

I would love to know if you see my music leading to a career. I am asking this also because when I’m practicing, I regularly can feel someone touch my hand or my cheek, and at times it feels as if I just walked through a spider web. I have also heard my name called and have found my picks under my music books. I also would like to know is it my music that leads me to find that special someone.

Rich

Dear My Music,

It is not your music, but rather your heart, that will lead you to that special someone.  Your music will simply be the icing on the cake or the means by which you encounter one another, however, it is your heart / soul that will seal the deal, so-to-speak.

You’re a man of many talents, of which music has to be one, and perhaps it is more a passion of yours than a talent.  You’ll enjoy levels of success or achievement with this passion, however, you would be wise to remember that often times we arrive at our dreams in very different ways than we had envisioned.

Be open to the influences around you, the opportunities that seemingly pop-up from nowhere, and the willingness to say YES as opposed to NO, as you are a very gifted and protected soul.  In that, your spirit guides desire to take you on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, yet you must be a willing participant.

They caution you to not have your head down too much or be stuck in “your ways” or means by which “you believe” you will experience and achieve measurable success.  The most beautiful success comes from being fluid, open, raw and vulnerable.

For then the success you experience and achieve is far more than just instrumental; it is life altering, and that is epic success.  Open yourself like never before, so as to cast off your self-imposed burdens and limitations.

Life is about living; journey…not destination.

The hand of God and the Spirit underworld is definitely upon your doorstep, walking or strumming along with you.  It is why you have experienced these various “happenings” and will continue to do so for much or all of your life.

When you are dismayed or discouraged, you need only call upon them to lighten your mood and your path.  Remember the rich man needs little and has much to offer others.

Always speak, play and sing from your soul.  You will touch the hearts of millions; it just may come about in a way or manner completely unexpected to you.  And therein lies the beauty of the Universe and the very gifts of life itself.

Cry me a river, sing me a song; know in thy heart, it will last a lifetime long.
