Lost Its Connection

Everything in life is made up of energy. It is mutable, fluid, and ever changing.

Much like the currents of a mighty river or the tender rhythms of a babbling brook they each ebb and flow.

They etch lines into the hardened surfaces upon which they run forever changing the landscape before us.

In your specific instance the initial currents have ran their course and served their purpose, now it’s time to discern if there is still a greater distance to travel or has it simply run its full course.

The natural flow of that which was once intense, immense, new, and heightened, has given way to normality, boredom, and monotony.

No one can ever return the raging waters of the stream back into its place of origin any easier than placing the genie back in the bottle.
