Seeking Advice

You are currently experiencing a trifecta of unrealized dreams, disappointments, and disillusionment.  How can everything be so right, and yet be so, so, wrong is the question you’ve been asking yourself over and over and over again lately.

The debt wouldn’t be so bad, maybe even fine, manageable, and acceptable, if you were paying it off with a job / career you really loved, but you aren’t.

Instead everything is beige and the debt is mounting.  And it’s mounting because at every turn you are attempting to buy yourself out of unhappiness, and that just isn’t going to work.

When you are in a hole, STOP DIGGING.  And this applies to not only your debt, but also your career and relationships / dating too.

To everyone else, externally, you appear to have it all together, the one to look up to or envy.  However, the reality on the ground / inside of you is that you are deeply unsatisfied with life at this moment in time.

The charade is exhausting, not to mention detrimental.

You’re not quite certain how you ended up where you are or how to remedy the situation and it all feels as if it’s caving in on you.  To say you’ve had some sleepless nights would be an understatement.

In all aspects you mentioned, Career, Dating, and Debt, you need to take a major time-out.  You need to hit the re-set button and let things fall where they may.

Once you figure out that you cannot be all things to all people and that the facades you have been living by serve no one’s best interest, least of all your own, you’ll come to stand on much more solid ground.

You’ll come to experience a sense of freedom you have yet to ever allow yourself. 

You’ll come into your own. You’ll come to trust your true identity. And that will be something you will carry with you for a lifetime and beyond.

It’s time to stop living in the past and simply get busy living.
