TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

Time Waits For No One

“SEIZE THE DAY” is a traditional translation of the Latin phrase CARPE DIEM (“enjoy the day”, literally “pluck (or harvest) the day”).

It’s an aphorism, often attributed to the Roman poet Horace, that encourages one to make the most of the present and not worry too much about the future. The full phrase used by Horace was “carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero”, which translates to “pluck the day, trusting as little as possible in tomorrow”.”

“DO NOT LEAVE FOR TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY” is a well-known piece of advice, often attributed to Benjamin Franklin. It encourages individuals to avoid procrastination and to seize opportunities as they arise, rather than postponing tasks that can be completed immediately.”
